Open Source is a book and data collage project by Warren C. Longmire. It’s main form is in the physical publication printed and edited by Radiator Press (2021). It’s five parts explore home and self-acceptance throughout the life of the Warren, weaving from the hoods of Philly to the halls of Microsoft headquarters and back again. In addition to the poems themselves, Open Source includes QR codes linking it to a custom made footnote system with performances and “data collages.” A stage reading of Open Source including live musician and midi controlled sound cues was performed in the fall of 2021.
